![]() ![]() I put it in a list of games that I wait to go on sale-games like Dishonored that are a ton of fun but don't necessarily warrant a 60 dollar purchase. I didn't find it to be a flawless masterpiece but it exceeded my expectations and I enjoyed the entirety of my playthrough. It seems pretty short compared to alot of the massive, open world games we have now but again, it doesn't exist in a genre that gets judged that way. Must say the story was very good, comparable to a well written movie, but i play games to play a game, not watch a movieīioshock has always been a pretty linear, story based series that relied far more on storytelling and atmosphere than combat or depth.Īlso, an 8-10 hour shooter has generally been considered pretty average length. Safe to say those websites are utter complete bullshit. I finished the game in 7.5 hours and i took my time. The 'average' play time for this game was around 11 or 15 hours according to some websites. Hell, I'd even say that Witcher and Fallout are too different to compare to each other. Witcher and Fallout are vastly different games to the Bioshock series. I was pretty blown away when i FIRST played it, but after now finishing Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 i can safely say where was the attraction this game had towards critics?
